Mazda has announced pricing for its freshened Mazda3 will start at $15,200 for the i SV sedan, but if you want the new SkyActiv-G 2.0-liter engine, you would need to choose the Touring model with an MSRP of $18,450.

The Mazda3 will offer four different engines for 2012, making sorting through the trim levels and variations a bit tricky. The line starts with a base sedan fitted with an MZR 2.0-liter engine producing 148 hp. This is offered in SV and Sport trims, with the well-appointed Sport including standard keyless entry and an optional five-speed automatic transmission.
